Jake is my lover dog, he's so mellow that my husband describes him as a "teddy bear with a heartbeat." His favorite inside sport is television watching, because that's when I lay on the floor and he's right beside me. He'd prefer to be half on top of me, but he weighs too much. Doesn't matter where I'm at, there he is, constantly at my side. He'll let you adore him to your hearts satisfaction. He's calm, gentle and quiet inside, but step outside with a tennis ball and he's all energy.
Jake has an outstanding pedigree; both his sire and dam were champion show dogs, along with most of his ancestors. He's intelligent and so eager to please that training him was a snap. Jake received his Championship on Feb. 8, 2008. Yeah Jake, you rock!
Jake is available for stud for females that are "breed" quality, meaning they have passed the appropriate tests and are disease free. Jake has his final OFA with Excellent hips and clear elbows. In addition, he was Penn Hip tested and scored in the 100th percentile out of almost 12,000 Golden Retrievers! It just doesn't get any better! His eyes and heart are disease free also.
